The newest album Elephunk:
The Black Eyed Peas will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and newcomer Fergie named the album Elephunk to conjure up a big, deep funk sound. Some of those new directions on Elephunk include songs like \"Anxiety,\" which matches The Black Eyed Peas with popular platinum rock band Papa Roach, whom they met and bonded with on tour.
"Black Eyed Peas":
On New Year\'s Day in the South there\'s a tradition of black-eyed peas being made into Hoppin\' John which has the reputation of bringing good luck. Black-eyed peas cooked with onion, garlic and tomato sauce make a delicious dish.
Analysis:
In the song it is a matter of there being terrorists in the USA and feeling only drawn to the bad one. They ask God for help against violence, hate and power. Children, youth and adults must die in worst way. And that all ends in the question: \"Where is the Love\"?\"
This song is rightfully referred to as a \"state-of-the-world ballad\" and became a universal success this past summer.
