The Stoneeagle
The latin name is (Aquila chrysaetos), but the stoneeagle is also named goldeagle because it´s the most majestic species of all birds of prey.
Look
The Stoneeagle has dark- and goldbrown feathers and at his tail he has some goldbrown stripes and his neck is yelllow-brown and the deckfeathers of the tail are white.
The stoneeagle has a beak, tharp clows and very big sharpness eyes. His range is more than 2m.
Spread and place
The stoneeagle is sperad over the northern part of the earth, but he lives also in the middle of Europe: for example: Alpen or Karpaten
And he lives also in north and central Scottland, America and Africa.
You can find him in mountains and especially at great rivers.
Food
The stoneeagle eat animals like rabbits, mice and another small animals.
In his 150 squarkilometers big territory he explore the area and if he find a victim, he surprise it with an serial attack. He kann kill 15kg heavy animals.
Nist
His nisting place is often at stonewalls and it cowsist of brances and strow. The stoneeagle use between 7-10 nisting places.
