In the following you're going to read a book report about the novel Tenderness written by Robert Cormier and published by Delacorte Press. The book consists of four parts and has all told 229 pages.
Tenderness is a psychological Thriller told from the point of view of a teenage killer named Eric Poole and a girl caled Lorelai who falls in love with him.
The novel plays in the USA.
One of the protagoists is Eric Poole, a young serial killer, who has just been released from juvenile detention. Now he is on a new search after Tenderness, which he finds in killing young, beautyfull girls.
The second protagonist is Lori. She runs away from home because she\'s fixated of a singer called Throb and her aim is to kiss him once. It is the only option for Lori to get rid of the fixation. Then Lori see Eric on TV and after a second she gets fixated again. But she doesn\'t know in which danger she brings herself. She finds Eric and from there on they travel together.
In my opinion Tenderness is a interesting novel.
Rober Cormier gives the reader an idea how a serian killer fells inside and how people can handle them.
I would recommend the book to eyeryone especially to read it in class and discuss some parts because Tenderness is not a borring uninteresting story as the usual novels read in school.
