Marilyn Monroe was born on 1st June in 1926 in Los Angeles as Norma Jeane Mortensen. Her mother was Gladys Mortensen and her father was unknown. She was grown up in fosterfamilies and children's home until she got seven. After she got a nice looking body like a woman, Norma Jeane became very popular at school and started to date with guys. In the age of 16 she married her first love James Dougherty but later she decided to get divorced. She had several affairs. Marilyn got a small job in an ordnace factory and as a model. After her 18th birthday she was discovered by a photograph \"Army\'s First Motion Picture Unit\". In this studio she had many photo-schootings. By spring her face was on 33 covers of magazines. She lighted her hair and the success came. After the 20th birthday she signed a contract and she got the nickname "Marilyn Monroe". In "Scudda-Hoo! Scudda-Hay!" she got her first filmrole. In 1948 Marilyn got a role in a musical movie and got to know her voice-coach. In 1949 she posed nude for a celender, because she had no money. In the same year she played some more roles. By 20th Century Fox she signed a new contract for 7 years. After the movie "Love Nest" the press began to recognise her. Marilyn fell in love with Joe DiMaggio. In movies like "Niagara" and "Gentleman Prefer Blondes" she got the leading roles. In 1954 Marilyn and Joe married when she was 27. Joe beat her, because of his jealousy and she filed the petition for divorce. In 1955 she moved to New York and began a relationship with Arthur Miller. In sommer of 1956 she married him and went to London to film the movie "The Prince And The Showgirl". Back in New York she took medicaments, because she fell in deep depressions. Marilyn and Arthur went back to Los Angeles in 1960. During the production of "The Misfits" she came in a private clinic. Marilyn has been divorced again. In New York she went against her sake into a psychatric, in a locked and padded room. At the beginning of the new year she had an affair with John F. Kennedy and later with his brother, Robert. The 2nd June, her 36 birthday was her last day where she acted for a film.She was fired, because of an overdosis sleepingpills. After all of them she seemded very optimistic and also she planed in future a new film about her favourite actress Jean Harlow. She and Joe decided to remarried. On 1st August she spent most of her time with the psychiatrist. Marilyn was sedating with medicaments. During a phonecall she was muttering and hardly able to speak. She died on the 5th August 1962 between the call about 7 p.m. and midnight.
Until today the truth about Marilyn Monroes death has not been solved. Many people think at that relationship to the Kennedys. Years later a scientist found in her body a fatal drug was caused an enema. Not only that. The combination with sleepingpills was deadly for her. |
