My Presentation is about the topic piercing. I've chosen it because I like piercings very much and I'm very interested in Piercings.
At first I would like to explain to you what "to pierce" means: The Piercing is stitched in a part of the body like the tongue or through the skin like the belly navel.
The history of the Piercings:
Like tattoos Piercing has it's origin in the culture of the natives of some countries like Africa. As pegs in lips, noses and ears they have an spiritual meaning for the natives. In western culture the piercings were spread out by the Punks of London1975. Because of refusal of social values and in order to definite themselves they used piercings. In the middle of the seventies in America there was a group like the punks who's named "Modern Primitives" which came from the SM- scene. They imported the way to pierce like it is used today: hygienically and with surgical means.In 1976 the first piercing shop was opened in San Francisco. The piercing became social accepted very fast in the western culture. Up to now.
NowI would like to show you how a piercing is stitched by an example of a belly navel piercing:
First the place where the piercing will be is marked.
Then the Skin will be wedged by a hole pliers and the piercing needle will be pierced though the skin
A little tube stays while the piercing will be pushed. Ready! And it doesn't hurt at all!
There are many adventurous stories circulating about the health dangers of piercings. Many of these alleged complications like Peritoneum inflammation and even death, are surly intentional, told by parents who don't want their kids have piercings. Primarily skin could turn red due the piercing, swell and get inflammed or the danger exists to get stuck because of the piercing. All Piercings in the mouth area bring along dangers for teeth and Tooth retaining apparatus. Intimate piercings can be, not healed, a risk for Hepatitis B and HIV. These dangers can't be found often and only when Execution and Care of the Piercing isn't hygienic and proper.
If everything goes well then the piercing looks like on this pictures where I would like to show you some kinds of piercings:
This is a nose piercing, an ear piercings, a belly navel piercing, a breast piercing, a tongue piercing, a lip piercing and at the end an eyebrow piercing.
