Dear Mr Hornby! Top Five things that I like about your book \"High Fidelity\": 1. I enjoyed the style of the novel. Rob Fleming was telling me the secrets of his life, opinions, etc., what for me is kind of original. And the novel gets along without much of plot, which could confuse the reader like in some other novels. 2.
The fact that the comments and opinions and statements about life, love, relationships, etc. can be related to the reader himself, especially by people who are in Robs age, born in the 1950s/60s. These people also can understand better the plenty of music, movies and funny jokes that are involved in the book. 3. The characters. Not interesting charcaters who do amazing or different things, but charcaters that you can relate to, feel for, and almost take off what they say.
The witty conversations between Rob, Barry and Dick are some highlights of the novel. 4. The happy ending. 5. The fact that the novel doesn\'t take itself as totally serious, that it is written so to speak with a winking eye. \"High Fidelity\" is a funny, witty novel, that at some points drags (partly in the beginning, f.
e.), but at most points is gratifying, making you laugh but also lets you think about reasons why men and women get together and sometimes drift apart. It is enjoyable to read it. In appreciation
