The Novel "Fahrenheit 451" is written by Ray Bradbury. The Title " Fahrenheit" means the temperature which book burns. The place of action isn't clearly described, it is somewhere in the USA. The time of action is in the 24th century. The novel is about a fireman named Guy Montag, whose life changed as he steals a book from a woman's house. It is forbidden to read or to posses books.
Montag the main character's job is to burn books. On his way home he meets Clarisse Mc McClellan, his neighbour. Over the next several weeks, Clarisse and Montag develop a friendly relationship. Due to the relationship Montag begins to think about his own life. Then one day Clarisse disappears and Montag is worried. The relation between Montag and Millie his wife is neither harmonious nor friendly.
They seldom even notice one another. One day Montag had to chuck out a woman from her house but she didn't leave. She sets on fire and commits suicide. Montag is moved by the woman's bravery. Before he leaves the house he steals a book from the woman. He begins thinking more and more about his life and society.
Montag meets Faber. Who reads books to. With him, Montag develops a plan to repopulate the world with books. Owing to silly mistake of showing the book to the neighbours, he is caught. He gets an order from Beatty to burn down his own house. Montag doesn't obey Beatty and kills him and destroys the mechanical hound.
After that he flees to Faber. Faber advises him to go to the forest and join the book people, who are also persecuted. During Guy's flight bombs attack the city. At the end of the book the group decide to help to rebuild the burned out city and to rebuild a new and free society.
