The picture of the ideal of human often change in the history.In the 20 century human being want to be as slim as possible.Many people are not able adapt this ideal of beauty. So they are disadvantaged in our society.

It is understandable if you want to use diet and exercises in a healthy way to lose weight, but sometimes eating behaviors become unhealthy or often to psychological or emotional difficulties. But what is an eating disorder at all? If you find yourself worrying about your weight and thinking about what you aren't going to eat, you may have an unhealthy "relationship"?with food. Thinking about food is a normal part of living, but sometimes, abnormal and unhealthy eating behaviors develop from obsessive attitudes about food and body image.
Some people do not eat enough, they limiting calories to an absurdly low level.Some others eating unhealthy amounts of food in short periods of time.Some might think that the efforts to control their eating are a healthy way to achieve the body they want, but if their eating habits consume their thoughts and dictate your social activities, things they may have get out of control. What may have started as a plan to lose a few pounds might have turned into unhealthy and destructive eating ("patterns"=Muster?). Eating disorders significantly damage normal body functioning and can be life-threatening. There are three main types of eating disorders.
At first there is Anorexia. By anorexia people are thinking that they are fat even though you are underweight. Serious health consequences can starvation be. The second type is called Bulimia. It is the rapid consumption of food in a short period of time. They lead self induced vomiting or take exhausting means.
The last one is Binge eating disorder. Binge eating disorder is the consumption of large amounts of food, even when a person is not hungry. But this is not harmless.People which have a eating disorder use food to ease their pain or ("exert"=ausüben?) some control over their lifes. There are many different risk factors included: A main point is, problems in the family or a troubled home life.Some people feel shame and guilt some others prefer to life in a social isolation.
Children may have disinterests in school or work.It can also be that the muscles get loss and weakness.When you suffer under bulimia you can be dehydrated after a short time and you can get a vitamin or mineral lack. But what can we do you if someone close to us has an eating disorder? If you are worried about a friend or family member, remember that it can be difficult for someone with an eating disorder to realize that there is a problem. Often family and friends are the first ones which notice it. It can be scary to see someone you love struggling with an eating disorder.
It is important to remain calm. You can contact a doctor and ask him what you can do and find information for eating disorders. What can we do to prevent eating disorders?
