Dorian: Today we will tell you something about the attack on the 11th September 2001
Dorian: First Gabriel tells you some facts about the WTC.
Gabriel: The WTC was built between 1966 and 1973. It was 412 metres high and had 110 floors. It consisted of two towers and it belonged to the largest buildings of the world.
There worked over 40.000 employees on a 1,2 millions m2 office-, restaurant-and buisness area. For building the twintowers were built in over 180.000 tons steel. It had 6 first floors and 3 undergroundstations. The WTC was visited by more than 100.000 people a day.
Gabriel: Now Dorian tells you something about the attack at the WTC at the 11 th September 2001.
Dorian: At the 11 th September 2001 around 8.46 an AA11 crashs in the north tower of the WTC. Around 9.03 the second aircraft crashs in the south tower. At the same time G.W.Bush is sitting with a second-grade class and is reading with the pupils in a storybook. His staff informs him about the attack. Around 9.38 an AA 77 crashs with low- level flight into the Pentagon. Around 9.40 for the first time in the story of the USA all the airports become closed and the airtraffic
is completely stopped. Around 10.07 the south tower falls together in itself.
Gabriel: At first the USA meant the background of the attack is religious, but later Bush thought the assassins attacked the WTC because the USA still had stationed a lot of troops in their country and the assassins could not suffer it.
Dorian: Four passengerairplanes were kidnapped, two were steered in the WTC, one crashed into the Pentagon and one was shot by the army. Only a small part of the Pentagon was destroyed. On this day over 2600 humans died in the WTC, 160 died in the Pentagon and 366 firefighters let their lifes.
Gabriel: Later it was assumed that the terrorists Atta and Umari were the wire- pullers of the attack on the 11 th September 2001. Short time before the assassination, Atta was stopped by a policeman because he drove too fast after paying his punishment the policeman let him continoue to drive.
Dorian: There are also people uptil today who think that Bush had planned the assassination himself to have a pretext for the Iraq war and the war in Afiganistan.

Dorian: Wir wollen euch heute von dem Anschlag am 11 September 2001 berichten.
Dorian: Zuerst erzähl euch Gabriel die wichtigsten Daten über das "World Trade Center"
Gabriel: Das WTC wurde von 1966 bis 1973 erbaut. Es war 412 Meter hoch und hatte 110 Stockwerke, es bestand aus zwei Zwillingstürmen. Das WTC gehörte zu den größten Gebäuden der Welt. Dort arbeiteten über 40.000 Angestellte, auf einer 1,2 Millionen m2 Büro, Restaurant- und Geschäftsfläche. Beim dem Bau der Zwillingstürme wurden über 180.000 Tonnen Stahl verbaut. Es hatte 6 Untergeschosse und 3 U-Bahnstationen. Täglich besuchten über 200.000 Menschen das WTC.
Gabriel: Jetzt erzählt euch Dorian wann genau das Attentat am 11.9 passiert ist.
Dorian: Am 11.9 um 8uhr 46 stürzt eine AA 11 in denn Nordturm des WTC.
Um 9uhr 3 fliegt das 2. Flugzeug in denn Südturm.
Zur gleichen Zeit sitzt Bush in einer Schulklasse und liest mit denn Schüler in einem Buch. Er wird von dem Stabschef Andy Card über denn Anschlag informiert.
Um 9:38 Uhr stürzt eine AA 77 im Tiefflug (wobei es Bäume und Straßenlaternen abrasiert) in das Pentagon.
Um 9uhr40 wird zum ersten mal in der Geschichte der USA der gesamte Flugverkehr lammgelegt.
Um 10uhr07 stürzt der Südliche Turm des WTC in sich zusammen.
Gabriel: Die Hintergründe des Terror Anschlags sind nicht religiös, wie lange angenommen wird, sondern die Attentäter wollten den USA einen Denkzettel verpassen. Die Attentäter können es nicht leiden, das Amerika immer noch Truppen in ihrem Land stationiert hat. Kurz vor dem Attentat wird Atta von einem Polizist, wegen zu schnellem fahren, angehalten. Der Polizist hat ihn lässt ihn jedoch nach zahlen einer Straffe weiter fahren. Der Anschlag hätte also verhindert werden können, wenn der Polizist in 10 min weiter fahren hätte lassen.
Dorian: Vier Passagierflieger wurden entführt, zwei wurden ins WTC gesteuert, eines flog ins Pentagon und eines wurde abgeschossen.
Nur ein kleiner Teil des Pentagon wurde zerstört.
An diesem Tag kamen über 2600 Menschen im WTC
160 im Pentagon und 366 Feuerwehrleute ums Leben.
Dorian: Später wird vermutet dass, die Terroristen Atta und Umari die Drahtzieher des Anschlags am 11 September auf das WTC waren. Es gibt auch Leute die bis heute denken das Bush das Attentat geplant hatte, damit er einen Vorwand für den Irakkrieg und den Krieg in Afghanistan hat.
